Do you want to increase the seat height or the rear end/tail height for better road clearance? These are two different situations.

For getting more ground clearance you need to raise the tail, which can be done by adjustment of the mono shock. Don't worry it does not harm the mono shock, else Suzuki would not have given the adjustment option at all

i guess i want the tail height to rise a bit..can u suggest a good mechanic in lahore for handle change and mono shock adjustment,,dnt want my ride to be messed up by some anari..m attaching pic of my bike

Bobbers usually have a hard tail, some have springs under the seat. I wonder how its handling would be

The adjustment on the rear shock is only for the preload, it hardly affects the effective ride height, to increase the ground clearance, ppl usually weld something to one end of the shock, but that's not something i'd recommend.

^Even for the pre-load adjustment height will increase. I increased the height of my blue GS considerable only though mono shock adjustment. Before adjustment the bike would touch on speed breakers with pillion riding, and after adjustment it does not.
