Clutch Plate + Pressure Plate

Is it necessary to replace Pressure plate along with clutch plate? on just re-surfacing the pressure plate will work? Thanks in Advance for humble guidance

Try to change both things together.
But if condition pressure plates are ok then you can only change clutch plates.

Clutch Plate+ pressure plate + Clutch bearing replaced
Flywheel resurfaced & polished.

Pick improved. Clutch is engaging lower. But speed is same as on high rpms before clutch & pressure plate replacement. Mechanic saying it will adjust after 50-60 km drive. Is he saying right??

Before weak clutch plate my car goes to 100+ in 3000 rpm and before replacement 80km/hr on 3000 rpm in 4th gear. After replacement doing the same with weak clutch.

No it should become normal now. There must be something wrong.

My car was tuned in April 2018...Tappets Throttle Body Catalytic Converter Plugs Cleaned Ignition Coil changed....My car O2 Sensor and Throttle Position Sensor is faulty but i m worried about clutch plate why my car is not gaining much speed as rpms increasing still after replacing clutch plate pressure plate. Clutch is engaging quick but when u look at speed, it is same as before with weak clutch plate pressure plate.

You're sure that clutch was weak before?
You should confirm that before replacing.
Means check light is bright?

I showed it to 2-3 mechanics and even to motor experts they said clutch is weak. There was no check light for clutch. However, Check lights lit up sometimes for Throttle Position Senor and O2 Bank 1 Sensor 1

My clutch pedal was engaging way too up before that was a sign of weak clutch plate. Car is shivering way too high on 1st gear biting point.

Engaging padel before half is another problem that can be due to low oil pressure in system or play in the padel,
Shivering means pressure plates need Polishing.
You should sort out the sensors first.
Without o2 sensor you are having a very bad mileage and ecu is relaying on Throttle body sensor and map/maf and in your case throttle body is also bad.

Long ago there was CNG installed in this car and according to mechanic, O2 Sensor (Bank 1 Senor 1) and TPS got affected due to CNG. My throttle body was faulty but mechanic who did the tuning in April fixed that but he said throttle body need to be changed @ around Rs. 3k because it ICV is damaged to carbon deposits. My car sometimes jerk when I engaged my car in 1st gear and gave no throttle especially when AC was on mostly in slow moving rush traffic (before clutch plate replacement)

While slow moving in 1st gear with zero throttle (around 800 rpm without AC and 900 rpm with AC).

Car gets speed and but its doing 80km/h on 3k and 100 on 3.5k and 120 on 4k (before or after clutch replacement) in 4th gear. Didnt tested 5th gear yet after clutch replacement

I have installed Dunlop 185/70R13 in my Honda City..Does they make any difference which I dont think so because I am getting almost good average even I have weak clutch plate.
