Clutch & Pressure Plate for Corolla 2010 GLI

Hi All,

I have observed an issue in my Toyota Corolla 2010 GLi. While pressing the accelerator of the car I observed the RPM needle touches 3 and the car picks the speed very slow. I am thinking this is any issue with the clutch and the pressure plate.

The price for clutch and pressure plate from Toyota Islamabad motor is 73k including labor cost

What is the difference in having the repair from Toyota and the local mechanic ?

I would suggest you to purchase original/genuine clutch, pressure plate and clutch bearing from Hamza younus saddar rawalpindi. They are authorised 1s dealer of Toyota parts. Purchase all parts from there. Here's the number: +92 333 5269284. Purchase genuine parts and do not purchase cheaper copies / other companies.
Toyota stealership is charging you too much. You can get a new gearbox in that price. There is no difference, go to some reputable workshop in Islamabad, and get your work done from there. Change gear oil as well if you can.
Whole thing will cost you less then 20,000rs.

Clutch plate has life, it is a consumable item like brake pads. Some go till 1 lakh kms some till 50k kms. Depends on driving style. You can buy toyota genuine clutch and pressure plate from Ijaz Autos Saddar Rawalpindi. Use 2 liters of Toyota Genuine Manual Transmission oil GL-4. Go to any sensible workshop. I will recommend you Motor Maniacs. @rozzzzz

Driving style is different of every person. I can burn a brand new clutch under 5 minutes and same clutch may last 100k kms. So every person drives differently, some rest foot on clutch. Some hold clutch on hills. Then clutch is gone in matter of minutes.
