CNG in VITZ

My vitz is performing quite well. It has been 2years and 5months that i purchased it, its performance and pick are superb on petrol. now, due to increase in petrol prices, i m planning to install CNG in it. My vitz is automatic. So, i want to take suggestion from you guys that does the performance declines alot on CNG? or should i go for CNG?

vitz with auto tranny....not recommended on CNG
on manual tranny....one of the best on CNG

as waleed80 said it's not recommended to use cng in auto tranny ... but still ppl r using it sum had problem sum dnt ... rest upto u ... I have installed cng my home and friends cars from cng kit zone and MASHALLAH se np occured till yet ... u can contact them for more queries .. if u want ...

oo bhai me also having vitz. mera mashwara hai dont use cng. cauz engine ke life half hojatii hai and efi car isnt design on cng. so plss. zulm naiii vitz par.

Ive got Vitz myself and did not go for CNG cuz its auto tranny......

So id suggest if you can afford petrol then stick with it
but if its really getting out of hands then go for cng

Everyone is repeating this cliche' that CNG + Auto is not a great combo without giving any sound technical facts backing up this theory.

Can you elaborate being an experienced engineer the technical issues regarding this ? Is this true that CNG would destroy the auto transmission in the long run ? A little technical explanation will be highly appreciated.

I have also seen many imported and local EFi cars in the queue at cng pumps, that makes me feels that its fine to install cng in vitz automatic trans. My dad owns city exi 2000 model and he has also installed cng in his car recently but his car is manual that might be the reason tht he is facing no problem factor in cng.

i m using my vitz ........with CNG ......aik year se koi problem nhi aya ...... chotay motay problem atay hain bt they can b solved with toyota capital motors...

CNG works for both Manual and Automatic but the people who are having problem in CNG with automatic cars must find out some good CNG technician, road per bethey huwe har airey gairey ney CNG ka kaam khol lia hai and they dont know the technical stuff that how CNG works and the result is problems with your car, meiney Premio even Harrier Jaisi gariyoon mein CNG lagi huwi dekhi hai and people are using agar CNG mein itney problems hotey tu yeh shayad itni famous na hoti Asia mein but CNG is a successful solution.

@Sabaz aap kisi achey CNG waley sey contact karen jaisey k "CNG KIT ZONE on Jail Chowrangi" ya Phir "FRIENDS CNG before express highway start" ya phir meri "Mellenium Mall k pass jo bridge bana hai us k right hand per LANDIRENZO k naam sey hai" in ko visit karen mein bi is sunday apni automatic VITZ mein CNG install kerwa raha hoon, merey pass CITY mein 3 saal sey CNG lagi huwi hai without any problem.

Cha gaiy ho Kilwnai bhaee, i too believe that one should NOT have any problems with CNG in Vitz, it doesn't make ANY sense ke "Yar VITZ mai CNG na kerwana", oh bhaee ager log Toyota Surf se le ke Mehran mai CNG lagwa saktay hain to what is the point of not having a CNG in vitz. I think forum members should start to educate users in this forum about the quality car Workshops in different cities.

@ kilwani, u r right but some how the performance declines. if it saves us 50% money as compared to petrol than that performance decline is acceptable. i have heard of friends cng and cng kit zone but never heard of LANDIRENZO i mean i haven't heard word of mouth from any1 that they r also experts, infact it is near to my home as well.

@sabaz once you will be use too with CNG then you never feel the difference of Petrol and CNG, Make sure when you install CNG it should be Italian Landirenzo along with Advancer Emulator jo aap ki gari ki engine ki timing advance ker deta hai according to speed.

Bus bhai or ab CNG ki tareef mein bola nai jata haath dukh rahey hain type ker ker k take care guys

Go for it ...
And look for some pakwheeler who's in your city, and who could tell you where to go for the installation.
because it all depends on that.

VITZ owner club have lots and lots of success stories of CNG+Auto Transmission.

i recently got cng installed in my vitz, n its giving no prbs. obviously it takes some time to adjust the car on cng but after that its all fine. koi problem nahi hai. the pick decreases aur app gari bhaga nahi saktay. if ur one of those insane aggressive drivers dont put cng warna koi pr nahi hai. n dont use any type of cng kit with it there are certain components that are specially designed for vitz on cng. let me know if u need details.

my brother bought a civic 2004 auto tranny ,bt it ws nt running f9 ! baar baar band hojati thi .... he used to run on petrol bt jb CNG walay k paas gaye he said k filter chock hai chnge kro ...tht ws my first evr xperience with AIR filter
Nw, if a problem occured i used to chk air filter first .... replacing air filter works alot .... v shud b very careful wid air filter while running auto tranny on CNG
