Cng mehran woofer help needed!

i hav a cng mehran and need to install a woofer in it...but i cant use up back seat by putting a base box on it..so i was wondering that if placing a woofer on the back phatta is any good or not....cz i hav seen ppl installing a 12" woofer like tht....does it produce sufficient sound?? any help would be good thanx in advance:)

4 kenwood 718 speakerzzz fitted on back phatta with any good pre and remember to put Solid Audio F-45 Or F-47 mehran key chat hilla day gay i have this setup in ma old mehran really sound and quality no match without woofer

sincere advice
remove the CNG, its mere difference of few paisa/km running on petrol vs running on cng now a days

after removing cng
place a phatta in original position and fit 2x original Kenwood 718 speakers with a normal 2-ch amp and sound + quality shall be good enough (better than normal listening or with a box on top of cng tank) or get a 4-ch amp and hook up 4 kenwood 718 speakers.

well not agreed ..
2 pair of 718 cannot produces the bass of woofer... however by SOLID AUDIO f45/f47 with 4 speakers u can shake the top of ur car with a very increased mid and sharpness..

u can use shallow series of sony & pioneer or kenwood 3009/3010 (required small box as compared to other woofer) and make the box where u keep ur spare tyre ...

here are my findings for the difference in cost/km while running a mehran on petrol vs cng
(running Suzuki Mehran 2007 with 13 inch alloy rims n 175/60/R13 tyres with AC in City)

CNG (approx PKR 3.5/KM)
I was getting 50WL tank filled for pkr 350 and lasted 100-110 km with AC in city

I have disconnected CNG by removing venturi+pipe, cng kit is still installed and 50WL EKC tank is still lying in the boot. I got petrol tank filled and ran the car 100 KM

difference on petrol
PETROL (Approx PKR 3.75/KM)
got a refill again after running 100 km and refill costed only PKR 375

Now i plan to remove the cng tank and fit a proper phatta in boot so that my kenwood 718 pairs can be fitted properly out of the box into the phatta. i have a 2-ch chinese amp.

waisy for ur info i used 718 setup ( 2 pair) for about 6 months now shifted to 1 woofer and one pair of 718 ... lot of difference in bass ..

multiples of mid range speakers cannot produce lows of a woofer
lower range will still be missing.

i actually hav tht kind of box but it has a 10" woofer in it...its nt tht good...that maybe because the woofer is simple chinese wala...but it gives good beat only thing it lacks is the vibration...it may be because of small box:S

yaar sameer akhtar ... even 10" woofer can vibrate the metal sheets of mehran the only thing that u r giving the right watts and good box...
as u have space problem u can use sealed box...

i think so for a CNG mehran 4 718s, a pre and a good amp are enough if u cannot afford a basstube on ur rear seat

yar the box is imported....bt the space between tyre and cng is too less as i hav company fitted cng mehran...

money nt an issue here...718's orginal cost 5600 each...so woofer is still cheaper choice:) a D2 will cost 4200rs at most...
but i want to know tht is it any better if i change woofer....as if its not better mere paise zaya

yara cultus mai tou bohot achi sound ban jati hai....even if woofer is placed elevated on the pahtta..

money is not an issue so try shallow series of pioneer woofer... and one pair of 718
and get a good 4 channel amp
