my bro just sold a cultus 2005 F cng with 55kg cylinder in it. and yes it is true. it always gave us an average of 18 with AC in local and around 200-210 on long route. its just the matter of rite tuning. u can call him and confirm it

its great that yoy all are making good average,whats the catch, it technical forum, share the reasons of getting good milage,like what CNG setup,FF or nnon FF, plug type,Timing, Vituri,or any other detail you wana share so we all can get benifit of it. and where you are getting tune up etc

It also depends on the pressure that you get from filling station. i have Alto VXR 2006 (55kg), i have once done 245km on motorway (without AC) but have also faced situation in which it just did 97km (without AC). i will say average is 160-180 without AC while 120-130 with AC (in city).

FF is better as u get best fitting setup .. things are fitted with care and organized ..
however ppl here are also providing good fitting of cng too

i guess there will be no difference in the milage of FF and after mkt cng .. it all depends upon the tuning

Gentleman,

Here is my set of observation. I have Cultus 2005, with engine redone in Feb, 2011.
I come and go to Islamabad from Lahore. One full tank takes me to Islamabad from Lahore which is like 270Km through GT Road and vice cersa but with following:

1-No AC
2- RPM strictly between 2.5K and 3K (Well I am not at all a turbo driver myself).

the quiestion remains difference b/w ff and local cng
the main difference is in the injection in carb
FF uses venturi tubes in which none butterfly needs to be closed
both sides of carb get gas
in local fitting in early days it was direct hole in carb in one side and one butterfly needs to be blocked as in my 02 mehran its local cng and now a days i see venturi tubes also used by local guys
thats the main difference

I own Cultus 2011..10k driven..
I get mileage around 160 km with less Ac
and around 130 km with constantly ac on
this is after a complete tank full with around Rs/=360

Guys kindly help me out. My corolla 2004 GLi is giving me 75-85 KM in Karachi with 100% AC on. I think thats less that it should be. I would say I should get 85-100KM at least. Kindly help me out regarding the average KM for corolla 1.3L in Karachi with 100% AC on.

Brother which model Cultus do u have.? i have cultus 2010 month of november .. in da beginning it was giving me gud mileage but now its giving me a milage around 120 max .. i dunno wts da reason tough its a new car nd i hav tuned it man times 4m da suzuki authorized dealers but still. wt do u suggest to improve da mileage?

as per BOTH of ur assumption gas will fill 8.00kg no matter what the psi is then why are we paying more to fill a tank ..

Density = Mass / Volume .... ring any bells.... dont bring in Boyle & charles law ...

now this is only how gas is stored ... now how it is consumed is a different story

NO,i never said tht gas will b filled up with always same kgs..i said pressure is always responsible for how much gas get in cylinder...its like ull fill up 400 gas on 180 pressure,500 on 200 and 600 on 220...some hypothetical figures they are but point is pressure makes cng to get into cylinder...at 180 bar of pressure, gas will go in till inside cng cylinder pressure equals outside pressure,tht is ofcourse the cng compressor...so on 220,it will take more cng to go in as to level the pressure inside and outside...hope i cleared my point!
