Lambda my bro is the unit name for stoich ratio of air n fuel mixture. If u cant tune it properly then this does not mean that it has become a universal truth. Try to stay on the ground bro, n dont just pass judgments on ur personal likings n dislikings. Rather u should say that u dont have a full grip on the subject.

Advancers do not adjust the amount of current they let u adjust the curve of ignition advance. The ignition advance is necessary for two things bro ,i.e,
1. as per the requirment of the fuel coz different type of fuels require different timings to start combustion
2. so that proper combustion presure can be maintained on the top of the pistons at different speeds of engine/pistons.

The flame speeds of petrol n natural gas r different bro n thats y advancers r used.

If u look closely, there r no carbon deposits on the plugs used in engines, runing mainly on CNG.

Bro advancers let u adjust the ignition advance curve n emulators let u cheat with the ECU that the injectors r still connected.
