No I m saying if u can sustain the original shifting pattern then there is no harm.
let me try to give u a lil bit explanation here.
lets say that the original setup is that on 30% throttle ur car should go to 40kmh in second ratio n at that point it whould shift to third ratio, then it must do the same. N on 50kmh in third if u press the throttle another, say 20%, then it should down shift to 2nd ratio; then it should do the same after conversion. Otherwise it would cause extra mechanical stress on the tranny.
Lets look into another senario,i.e,supposidly on 70% throttle ur car should go uptill 5K RPMs n then shift to bigger ratio. But what if ur car(on cng) has not got enough torque to climb much past 4K n takes alot of time to reach the target RPMs on 70% throttle? then it would cause the gear to remain in the shorter ration for long time. hence causing extra stress
