hi fyq,
recently bought a santro 04 32k driven. it has landi kit with ulysis advancer & emulator combo box and 50kg cylinder. its doing like 60km w a/c in city, any suggestions to improve mileage.
iamadeefirst of all after buying go for omplete tunning, including plugs cleaning,gap, kit cleaning,cylinder cleaning air filter change, then there will be a change, do it and do tell me after tht.thnx
@fyqI have recently installed Cng in my Corolla 2003 Se Saloon Auto with Landiranzo kit & 60 Kg cylinder. Its giving me abt 70Km in City with A/C and abt 90Km on long Route. So do u think its fine keeping in mind that its 1600cc and auto. Car is completely tuned with new plugs & Airfilter. what should I do to increase its avrg as CNG is also no more that cheap. It consumes abt Rs. 390 & 8.25Kg Cng in one tank.RegardsAdnan
adnanblue!its low man !how can u say tht ur car is perfectly tuned wen its not giving gud average? tune up meaqns tune wtever is needed to increase performance of the car to its maximum. emu+advancer brand konsa hai? air intake kitna close kia hai, and hows pick ,,tell me all tht! thn i will be (not surely)able to tell u wot to do !

yes fyq is right its bi low i have civic prosmatec exi 2005 and it gives me 90Km with ac local each cylnder of 55.
I think u can improve your avg with 20 to 25 km more consult with CNG workshop

Looks you like technical discussions, thats why giving discussing this with you . One thing I could not understand why the spark advance is not being be configured through ECU in most of CNG workshops. There should have been a feature to set timing advance in ECU. If it is possible then there is no need of advancer any more. Yes.. petrol performance may suffer upto some extent. Also keep in mind the example of carburetor engines where car engine works fine on both fuels with advance timing.

Hey fyq, i need some help...im not getting good average on my santro 04...i only get around 60 km local... pick is okay but sumtime the engine stalls it doesnt respond for 2-3 seconds on first gear!.. wot cud be the reason.. 3-4 baar cng setting bhi kerwa chuka hoon!

yea.. the plugs are cleaned .. and about gap.. how much should it be? i'll get it re-checked

i am sure that its not a fake landiranzo kit, cause i didnt bought it from outside and in our country cng kits r not available in local shops. Navana is the sole distributer of the Landiranzo and they did the conversion. everyday they converts more than 200 cars with there 5 conversion center. they also giave me 1 year guarantee for their products. today there engineer, trained from Landiranzo Italy inspect my car change the stap sensor from map to air flow and changed the mixture device and change the iridium plug to normal one. now it is perfect. one problem i am facing that with fully rotated steering when i tried to accelerate from standing is very slow. they said that it need more vacuum. but they couldnt solve it. tomorrow their chief engineer from italy will inspect the car. they already talked with Landiranzo. hope they will solve it soon. Can u help about this matter????
smautno!i told u abt fake coz atleast here,very few emu+adv of original landi renzo are imported.mostly r fake...n 2ndly i indicated those things.well, now seems to b prblm with air intake...n less rpms...not sure till seeing it physically(any car)
is ur car 1.3 or 1.6 ? and which emu+adv are installed now??
got it checked... the mechanic fiddled with that green levato device which i think is advancer? .. he put in a screw driver and kept rotating it until both the lights were green but then car was vibrating alot so it was adjusted on one red light and the green light...he said everythin else is okay?!
