Can you tell me which spark plugs (name/specs) would you recommend for a honda civic 2002 auto trans . Changing them is due and I heard there are 4 tip plugs available in market that tend to perform better than 1-2 tip. Can you tell me the spark plug brand name and specific part number (that matches civic 02 body heat range)?

hi yar i have a cultus VXR 2004 on CNG, the problem is that with my vehicle that often its RPM setting gets unset and my car makes vibration (generally at gear box) a lot when i do not give race to it, sometimes the engine gets off even i have pushed the clutch fully. And also advice, how to slow down the noise of car getting into my cabbin. please suggest me.plzpzlzpzlz

a simple point" wen a multi tip plug wil produce/generate more current, where will the exhaust go?" means actually, not only multi tip plug are the characters of story,bigger exhaust is also playing a major role there.so, theres no need to change kind of plug, just go for what honda specify..agreed? (if ur car is not performing better, tell me about tht)

Correct me if i am wrong, but I doubt if a multi tip plug produces more current than generated by a single tip? It probably has to do with increasing the probability to generate a spark so that chances of misfire are less (hence leading to a better performance/fuel consumption).
If you look at the 26 secs video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZTso3mu3XLU&NR=1 , the second spark plug that they show is what I believe a 4 tip plug and its producing a single spark at a time (chances for misfire are very less due to the availability of 4 tips).

after a lot of worrries,,finaly i got my altis converted on cng on saturday.components are,
landi renzo electronic kit.
advancer & emultors of PVR.
Lambda control system.(PVR).
switch (no.96)
55 kg cylinder.
no holes n wire cutings.neat n clean fiting.i got it from al-mubarik cng.i loved the way they worked.total system cost me 62000.i cant chek the milage for the city drive.the full cylinder gave me 90 km when i went to damn e koh n pir sohawa wid ac n 5 ppl.the pik was normal on inclines.on my return the last fill gave me 145 kms on highway wid ac,4 ppl @100kmh.what u think the mileage is fine for altis??

What is difference between lambda sensor and oxygen sensor.
I have City 2007 and recently got installed CNG Kit. The technician installed Digicar Multibox which had three type of connections:
1. Emulator connected to injectors
2. Lambda, not connected
3. Advancer connected to map sensor red wire

There was no connection wire in multibox for TPS. Also he did not connect lambda sensor saying it is not for petrol oxygen sensors
I think my car should have more pick on CNG. It does not take pick in 2nd gear. Fuel average is also not good @130KM with A/c. only Islamabad drive)

Should I connect lambda connection to oxygen sensor, if yes what wire of oxygen sensor need to be cut for lambda connection.

dynamically static!multi tip plugs are not only for mis firing, misfiring is also possible with multi tip plugs... wen carbon tip would be rusted etc, there will be misfiring,(in simple word plus tip ki side se ganda nahi hota,carbon ki side se hota hai) and yes they produce bigger spark and hence bigger fire, sir point is exhaust.... plzzzz think about it...

well, 62k is a VERY BIG amount man! last week cng fitting in 1.8 honda costed me 51 k with all original kit of landi with 55 ltrs cylinder and real imported emu+adv.... sir tooo high and just matter of some days.....u'll put off urself LAMBDA... i m really amazed k ap jese log bhee is terha kese ker lete hain....well,wt do i say more???ager ap ki altis ne 150+ avg na di, to i m sorry to say.....62k will be in vein

sir [please for God sake, remove upper mentioned 3-parts,how much did they cost u? and install simple tomasetto lovato emu_adv 2 in 1....ap ki car ko itna kuchh nahi chahiay...yeh cheezain u can say 1.8 and more powered cars k liay hain...try to understand sirr

evry1!please.....as u r literate people ... and i dun expect such things from u, lambda system is never a basic need of car. theres no repair and knowledge of after sales maintinance to mechanics about it.... please think about it.....if i m wrong,why 95% cars in city are going fine without lambda system????

please! lambda system k gun gana chhor dein....just tell me about 3-5 examples from hundreds who has installed lambda and they are satisfied(their car's performance is better then other's by spending 10 k more)..... haan if u have very spare money, it suits u but atleast for most people,money is very rare...

Dear Fyq! Mere pas Corolla 1981 hay jis main landi renzo kit install hay. Gari ki average achi hay (100-120) per cylinder. Leken pick nahee hay. Charai par speed 70 tak gir jati hay. isi tara gari main teen char log bathain hoo to bhi pick kam hojati hai.

ager to yeh prblm first day se hai thn air intake andplugs gap are making problem, otherwise, go for tune up and drain out oil from both kit and cylinder.

I have Hyndai Santro 2005 Exec i have installed 50 Cylinder in it from FaisalCng it gives me only 75-80 km in local is it fine.tell me brothers and mostly when i drive 15 km and then off my car it doesnot start again on Cng i dont know abt this probem then i convert it to Petrol after driving 4-5 kms then when i convert on cng i have to give race more then it converts. ok tell me brother

AoA FYQ.. thank u for opening such an excellent topic and helping others..

I bought Suzuki Sedan 91 last year, to make long story short i had spent 100k on it changed engine, gearbox, brakes, cylinder (now i hav Fiber 55kg) Landi Renzo kit and within Karachi i get around 100km per cylinder. rest of the parts e.g. plugs, sparks are local.

Do u think average is low? I am planning to install AC next week, will it get any worse? pick is Alhumdulillah good.

Please tell me what I should do for better mileage and performance even with AC.

2005 honda civic exi prosmatic. i have had the car for about 1.5 year now,, no major problems in running,, yet the pick is very low,, i have just had the tuneup and the cylinder cleaned of oil,, i was thinking of putting in an advancer ,, if u can plz help me regarding this, and any other thing i can do to make it better. Tank is of 60lr and i get 90-110 km averge per tank in city with ac. juss wondering if this is good.

just another thing that when i am going uphill and i dont accelerate before the uphill starts the car stalls and the gear dosent change to a lower gear(auto)...
