CNG related problems

Ok! I'll get it done, the power T adjustment. Is there any home tuneup equipment for knowing how much CO2 and CO is produced by the car, a simple one not like in workshops, just simple meter and pipe. Thanx!.

its a manifold in air filter box, usually get brk, and car doest set, so remove its tht manifold and set it thn..

hello FYQ

I have a Mehran 2006 and i Installed CNG aferwards on that. My milleage on that varies a lot. At times it gives me very good average and at times it is very low on that and also it doesn't take good pick, it is like slow.

In city it used to give me an average of 100-110 kms in a cylinder but now these days it is giving me around 80 kms.

What is the reason behind that?

there are some reasons behind low average .. e.g loq quality gas, accelerating style of drive etc. so ur car's avg can fluctuate..its normal..
for ur car,do the following
just reduce the point's gap a bit as well as of plugs...no intake block and advance it a lil bit from distributor from the point of original stock setting, adjust the gas frm power T and at last idle speed from kit... its all for MEHRAN....hope it will work , coz it alwaz WORKED...

Hey, sorry to bother you again... i have narrowed the problem a bit.. CAR is FINE with no headlights on and no A/c on...and CAR Is fine with BOTH ON!!.., agar sirf aik cheez on ho..tou car misses ...vibrates after intervalsss...
help me out!

I own a HONDA CIVIC 97. My problem in general is i cant manage to get it set on CNG.

History:

The car was running fine and giving me almost 170 km(W/O AC) on a 60 cylinder rwp-isb and back. Then one day my brother blew the head gaskit. i got it fixed but ever since the power of the car on CNG has sort of decreased. I have to switch the AC off in order to move from standstill in 1st gear. After the RPM touched 2 the power comes back...

Moreover after i run the car on petrol from 2-3 km and then convert back to gas the RMP drops to 1-2 from 9.
Then gradually after driving on CNG for a while it comes back up...Sometimes it does sometimes it doesnt!

Please suggest a good expert CNG mechanic in either RWP or ISB who can fix it!!!!!

lambda will not play tht rle tht we usually expect! 2ndly go for tunne up(proper) and other things adjust as they should be... it helps

it can be due to low quality gasket, and also they wud hav mishandled the air intake ratio... check tht, otherwise there shudnt be anyproblem in such way...except any electrical part dis-order.

well, theres a fact, there are some cases in which car either set on petrol or on gas.. confirmed report is issued by complete inspection... u tell me all the steps tht u have taken yet...

The original gaskit for Civic comes in 3 piece metal plates right! Some ppl say if ur Honda gaskit blows you shud put in double gatay wali gaskit in order to compensate for the gap created by facing the head!and that if u put in the orignal metal one it will leak resulting in further overheating problems!

IS THIS TRUE! i think my mechanic did the same, dint put in the original metal gaskit! Should i have it opened and replace the gaskits with the orignal metal one????

     My friend installed CNG in his baleno 1.3 99 model 1 month back. I called at your no at that day but you havent responded. We went to Al-Mubarik CNG and we asked for complete Landi Ranzo system but they insisted for PVR emulator and advancer and at the end we installed that. We were very happy initially for their neat and clean work but they messed up i think. Car's initial pick sucks. Please sugest should we go for Lambda or any other recommendation as car's driving pleasure is lost. Please help out.

Also i just bought City Vario 2008 and soon i may need to install CNG for this i also need your recommendation. In LHR my cousin installed custom made advancer for City by some electrician when his tranny was giving some strange sounds and after installing that advance every thing was ok, is it possible from your point of view ? your comments will be valuable for me and my friend

I think you are referring to the HKZ4 advancer emulator combo. Right?

            May be your right coz it was combination of Emulator and advancer. But that electrician modify it by putting some his own made circuits. I dont know in detail but i will get this info from my cosine.  But i wana know weather it's possible to edit pcb and design circuit of Emulator & Advancer her in PK ?.
