CNG related problems

I have Mehran with 40 KG cylinder and Injector (Compney Fitted CNG)
normal 3 orginal plugs.....
this Avg with 40kg cylinder in city (Lahore)

without Ac is 80 to 90
with Ac 70 to 80.

muffler causes reduction in avg and pick till u done down piping, but with bloking air intake upto 50% and thn set gas frm power, u'll feel the difference...

i have santro cng 2001 wid distributorless engine its wid advancer emulator. my car making problem when its hot i mean after 15 or 20 minute car's missing (jhatka and pathaka) when drive upto 60 speed. in slow race its ok but pick is decreased , plz whats hppnd wid my car my mechanic told me tht scanned the car by computer. i live in interior sindh there is no computer mechanics i changed the plugs and plug wires set the tapets but stil its given problem

i have a santro 2004 with cng fitted.
like a week back it had started backfiring very badly, on cng it had tha jhatkas, and stuff, so it literally impossible to drive on it. so i've been driving on petrol, but still it had missing and stuff. i went to a mechanic to get it checked, he checked the spark plugs, the wires, they were okay. so next he checked the coils which generate the sparks they too were okay.that mechanic also adjusted the tappets as well
but the problem is still there.i went to the cng workshop it says the emulator ,advanceer is okay, u must get it checked from the other mechanic since it's having missing on petrol as well.,
on my own behalf i changed to spark plug wires but the problem is still here
please assist me coz i am a university student i dunt have time for all this, could u tell what possibly could be the problem??. could it be the valve problem in the engine, coz all other possibilties have failed for me.
and driving on petrol is costing like hell.

if yes then does it effect engine or pick?
n i want to install cng at stupni place under the car n will remove tyre is it possible?
or would that be harmfull or dangerous

actually i have heard that CNG kit prices are very less than karachi market here in islamabad. it is true

here in karachi we are getting the kit and cylinder in 34k to 40k for carburator type vehicle and more than 40k for efi.

Hi FYQ and all
Please help out...new manual honda city one month old with cng...gives engine malfunction caution (orange light on panel) during CNG operation. it goes away on restarting the car. But car functions well in all aspects. On petrol no issue at all.
CNG workshop first changed the advancer to correct the problem. but no change. Now he is asking to put two emulators!! Is it understandable??
Got checked from honda as well and they say it happens with cng conversion at times.
Now i want this resolved to drive trouble/worry free.
Please guide.

RPM increase/decrease in xli on cng
Dear fyq,i recently bought a 2003 xli,the problem is that its rpm keeps on increasing decreasing when on cng,got it tuned up too.got it checked from kandan cng too,he says this an inherent problem with xli,
i have increased the idle running my self but if i take it down on normal ,rpm decreases ,engine vibrates and some times even swithces off

Dear FYQ,
1- After getting the CNG filled (full cylender) the pressure meter under the hood shows the pressure max upto 100-110 on it. Although all the 4xgreen lights shows as normal.
2- The Red light (showing the reserve) would not appear and with last green light on the car gets off as a sign of NO CNG. Whats the cure?
So i need to replace the pressure meter or it can be repaired? What should be the cost of replacement / repair?

recently i had some alterations with my cng system i have 99 civic auto.. had
installed emulator and advancer with touch button so that my car starts automatically on petrol.. but after getting it installed i noticed that car starts for petrol for hardly 2 or 3 seconds and converts to cng and if i start the car after a day or 2 my car starts on petrol and when it transfers to cng , engine shuts down ,so i need to start again .. i want to know if petrol starting timing can be increase ? or if its any problem with my cng system ? second when i convert my car to petrol , i notice change in rpm . idle speed gets more if i compare it with idle speed on cng...

to be very frank, it wont give u economical relief as in other cars due to its engine power. i dun sAy it cnt be cnvrtd, but its not a big advantage for prado.....pick will be excellent, but 4x4 car needs a power, tht cng CAN NOT GIVE....... i hope u understand...

how's u doing ...

well now days im having problem on cng as the rpm goes down and car bund ho jate hai ... i have mini pajero manual .. using cng since last 1.5 yrs approx .. and in nite when i switch the lite n listen to sound system then rpm also goes down .. say approx 1000rpm differ comes and when i switch the ac on then around 800rpm differ comes .. i have recently installed AGS 60amp battery ... i fell that it due to load on battery but thought of consulting u before doing sumthing ... on petrol it fine .. car bund nahi hoti ...
