i have XLi 06
Mileage 138000.
problem is its mileage, in city is does 90-100 widout ac
and on long 135-140 wid out ac.

is not it very less mileage...

gas-air balance is required, and air shud be bloked btwn 40-50% to balance with low pressure gas. and no specific venturi is required except one havng many holes inside, but even it wont act as u expect. just a balance of air-gas is required....

Yaar the one i am using its normal what you call it tongue type venturi should I change to that multi hole one or live with this one?

Thnx dear for replying. Now someone told me that in Auto Transmission CNG ruin the gera box as in city the gear are changed so frequently by the car that the gear box goes bad. Advise about this problem and one of the mechanic who previously installed CNG in my 2006 city told me that in city 09, there is no need for advancer as if u install advancer then it can ruin the gear box. Advise is solicited

i ve altis 07, 100,000 km done , with landirenzo + lambda sensor equipment, installed by al-mubarik ISB

1- when i swith to CNG from petrol, rpm falls in idle state initially but after 15-20 mint drive it goes off. how to rectify this ?

2- untill 90,000 kms, every thing was perfect, but after that there appeared a missing both on petrol and CNG, i got the " tappets " adjusted from Toyota Capital, and after that car dsnt goes beyond 180 km/h......what could b the reason

its true tht no advncr is required in new honda city.

its lambda which has no after sale spares and service.
get an ECU reset and plz dont go beyond 180 kmph.

chk every sensor and lambda compenents.

Thnx but what about the gear box problem as someone told me that the gear box can go bad in case of CNG conversion. Especially it starts giving problem when the car is run in the city mostly on gas. What is ur advice on that?

bro it is not sort of cmplt trbl free, but no as sensetive as previous transmission was. dont drive harsh, giv ur car a decent n peaceful gait...it will b ok

My question is that it is good to have cng kit and cng cylinder serviced or not becoz i went to cng wala and he said no cleaning of cylinder and kit is required.

PROBLEM was:

The car rpm sometimes sick to 0rpm and after that car shuts off.

Guys i have a Baleno 2003 with original CNG kit. Lately it was not converting to CNG. After getting it checked with almost three different mechanics, the switch was found out to have a problem. The last mechanic fixed the switch somehow, but now i have to raise the rpm to about 3500 for CNG to take over whereas previously it would convert at around 2500 or after 15-20 seconds. Any solutions.
