CNG related problems

fyq bi jan i have khyber 92. my car used to have 160+ in local without ac but pick was really bad. so went to my mechanic for its setting and he adjusted power t. car pick really improved but mileage got killed now im getting only 120 what could be the problem:S while im using same plugs and gas station as before.

bro. Its the light inside the cabin the needle undeq the hood is f9
I got the kit serviced january this year but the prblm stays where is that sensor thing can i wash it myself or wil have to go to mechnic?

Bro the red highlighted area shows the sensor. its a black plastic thingy with 2 screws on it.
All you do on your own is to move it to left or right and see if there is any effect on the cabin lights. If not then consult any CNG mechanic he will open it up and wash the sensor in it.
If that didn't help either, you'll have to change the sensor.

sir i went to a mechanic for tappet setting and asked him to check cng setting and tested it by accelerating the car and told me that it is ok

as iamadee said , sensor setting is required, and if theres no sensor on it,its on the glass cover of guage, u have to replace the sensor glass.

Fyq bhai, I need your suggestion. I have honda city 2002 with CNG, Landi Renzo, Manual T and no advancer/emulator installed. My CNG mechanic is asked me to change manual T with EFI T and install advancer. Could you tell me if it there is any advantage doing this?

What is the maximum amount of gas that can be filled in a 40L cylinder. Today I got filled 5.8 kgs of gas with CNG still left in cylinder.

First of all i really appreciate the time and effort you put in this thread. The information you had conveyed is valuable and most helpful. But i have noted that many questions are repeated. The reason is that in pakistan we have very few choices of car and a crowd of fraudlent mechanics. If you can write a blog or post about misconception in CNG, it will be much helpfull.

Now i am doing the same, i.e asking the same question. But i acknowledge my ignorance against your mighty khowlege.
I had bought MEHRAN VX (Petrol) zero meter (actually 37km) in August-2010. I had installed 50L EKC Cylinder with TN 094 Landirenzo kit on 6600 KM on 16-April-20011. Now it looks like i am driving a truck!!!. The installer guy was drilling carburetor but i stopped him and opted for Venturi. Is my decision was right? The pick is at least 20-30% less than petrol. The mileage i still have to measure properly. Please also visit the enclosed link for installation pics.

dear brother FYQ got a nice topic thanks for shairing this topic you have a lot of knowledge about C N G by my point of view , if i am wrong plz correct me

it`s need hi power electricity for good performence
any kind of loose connection is not acceptable
if we need something special then need something change like

1- new plug cables
2- platinium or iridium plugs
3- new heavy ampere battery
4- landi renzo original kit
5- educated kit fitter with C N G adjustement
6- good quality mobil oil minimum 500 per litre
7- good C N G station to fill full cylinder
8- confidence in your struggle
9- to check mileage of your car drive about 5 minutes on 100 km/h
10- again fill the cylinder from same station which you stay before

bro for cng performance, we need plug, cables, and coil perfection, and for plugs,,,i always suggest FACTORY FITTED PLUGS... Any original kit, MEchanic offcourse who shud know wt to do and wen to do for prblms,average is measured by calculating 2-3 full filled cylinders...mobil oil is cars basic thing
after all this..i must say tht ur car shud be PERFECT on petrol, thn it can be best on CNG..

which factory fitted plugs are good for car
SUZUKI , COROLLA , HONDA , MITSUBISHI , etc etc

brother the companies who didn`t lounch the car with CNG ,they fit plugs for petrol and if you go for checking your car they will treat your car for petrol starting and running which shows the hate about CNG

good plugs are extremely usefull for starting & running performence

if we talk about SUZUKI who are lounching cars with CNG
sorry to say SUZUKI is realy to much poor company for their electric wirring , shock problem etc mostly they fit used plugs in new cars

I want to ask that can two or more CNG cylinders of different capacities be installed in a vehicle. eg you install a 50l and 2 30l cylinders in a bolan or suzuki pickup. would there be problem or they would just run fine. Also can you please tell me some link from where I can find the dimensions of these cylinders
