CNG Switch - EFI

I got a strange problem might be my cng switch which is local made i guess.

Its a EFI car so starts on petrol but switchs to cng right away not even one second difference which 98% of the time makes the engine stall.

Now my question is to people using efi swithes how ur switch behaves i mean it take some time than auto switches to petrol or i saw in some cars where certain RPM is reached than car switches to cng which i feel is very good system. I wonder if we can get this kinda original switch from Pindi Islamabad?

Last do let me know if some one kno some place where original lendi renzo stuff is available.

i have seen to sort of switches
1) time based.....will shift to cng after few seconds
2) rpm based........will switch to cng when revved to certain rpm. but these have 2 types.
one is programmable type other is not.

to answer ur question switches are commonly available at all cng workshops.not sure about the price.maybe 2000 rupees for the better stuff? diamond cng gawalmandi is a whole sale supplier of cng parts. u can check there as well

Yeah Hash I need the RPM one as I like this idea better specially when in morning i like to keep my car running on petrol for few minutes.

Currently i got time based but the time is bad i mean the car is not even properly started and it converts to gas. Its a local switch bought it for 1000.

Where exactly is this located? If you know shahid autos if i am infront of shahid Autos where do i have to go from there

No one else with any experiance with these switches? BTW which one do you guys with EFI engines got in there cars? Timer based or RPM?

I own a corolla and have experienced, converted 86-90 Corollas are based on RPM based switching over ammm probably 2000RPMS +- and after that shape (current one & immediate older to current ) , time based siwtching over is practiced normally which is a few seconds majorly

Car: Suzuki Cultus VXL EFi 2007.... Factory Fitted CNG
Starts on petrol... switches to CNG after 90 seconds at 2000rpm.... will not switch to cng before 90 seconds...will only switch to cng after 90seconds when rpm above 2000..... CNG switch is factory fitted...

Hmm nice setup in cultus i mean this is better system.

though it increases your petrol cost yet at the end of the day you r lucky enough to have clean enginer engine as compared to full time or dedicated CNG enginesi.e starting + running on CNG or very immediate switching over to CNG engines.

If engine is frequently operated on petrol for 100Kms after every 1000Kms on cng, simply consider your engine never performed on CNG , always on petrol with 100% life of engine driven on petrol

Im using RPM based switch in 2000 vti, car converted to CNG by the time it touches 2200-2300 rpms.

I am gona look for this RPM based switch. Lets see if i can find it easily. Spoke to my mechanic about it he had no idea if such thing exists though he converts cars to cng hehe including efis.

mine i dont know what is some times its stays on petrol for min on min some time it converts after a couple of sec some time when you rev it above 2k or 3k and some times it stays on petrol no matter how hard you rev it or how much time its take hey i am not complaining i like how it is and i hate CNG so when coming from collage its on petrol going to collage and roming around its on CNG

make sure u get a programmable switch or the one which converts at a appropriate rpm range
when cng was installed in my car, used to convert to cng @ 4000 rpm
but it was easilly reprogrammed to convert @2000
