CNG - Why it should'nt be in your car!

please not how intact the cylinder is in the 2nd and 3rd picture

please not how PERFECTLY the cylinder it CUT like with a SAW or MACHINE and clearly shows it did not EXPLODE into PIECES.

i am sorry but i have my doubts on this one

I havn't suggested anyone to stop using CNG neither do i harbor any "anti-cng" sentiments of any kind so stop using phrases like "You're lying" or "I don't believe you" or "what website is this from". The pics arnt doctored, neither are the three fatalitites. You can argue the pros and you can argue the cons day in and day out but the fact of the matter remains. CNG(LNG/LPG) is dangerous. PERIOD! and if there's anyone here who thinks otherwise, please state so facutally, preferably referencing an authority rather their own views!

yes, u are right, it wasnt an exposion, I was ther at thespot when the fire started (the dabba was about 5 cars ahead of us), it started as a small fire in the engine under theseat, the driver tried in vain to stop the fire but eventually backed off when the flames got too much,, Despite the whole car being engulfed in fire, (including the rear, where the cng cylinder was, The cylinder did not explode, its emergency relief valve burst and there was a quite a firejet while the valve was at it, BUT, the point is, even thought CNG was responsible for the fire, the Cylinder did NOT Explode

Guys give the list of approved Cylinders and Kits.
Make it Sticky for quick and easy reference for everyone.
Give info, cost, Method and Addresses regarding Re-Testing of the CNG Cylinders.
Are CNG kits to be Checked/Approved too?
I recently got Hoffman Kit and Kiochi Cylinder put in my car. But there is no Stamp of approval or date of checking etc on it, why ?
