Cold air intake/filter

AOA everyone
Hope you are well and fine, I had some queries and doubts about installing a cold air intake or just a high flow air filter
Im really confused between both and cant make my decision
I want to install it in my civic X 2020
Some say that it won’t increase its performance even by a bit unless ecu is remaped accordingly
While others say it will have a effect on mileage and performance both
Kindly suggest the pros and cons of each and which one is worth the investment
P.s I have a oriel 1.8

People are right. It does nothing.
Stock air filter box is there to provide a steady flow.
If you want to upgrade then install aftermarket filters that meant for a specific car. For example K&N oem replacement filters. But again your not gonna make any hp from them.

What about if i install a k&n high flow air filter
I believe that works better then the other aftermarket air filters

Indeed. It is better then others. And fits in oem air box.
