What limitations are we talking about? Whats your budget?
-A good runing and body condition baleno 2005 is avalible for somewhere between 500-and 575, Depending on what you get and how you negotiate.
-If the car is petrol driven go for it.
-If its CNG, Check the car with a mechanic and let him approve it, backfire, missing, check light, axels, heating issues, oil in the engine room on the engine (tappet seal, engine seals etc etc).
-Baleno is an excellent car with an excellent drive, small on the inside, lacks leg room at the back, But over all is alot better then a Cultus, But it isnt as simple, Maintaince can be as simple as spark plugs for 150x4, airfilter for 250, oil change for 1500 plus service.
and can be as expensive, Spare parts are not easily avalible (suspension arms, keinchiyan), Ignition coils and wire orignals cost 14+2.5 = 17-18 thousand rupees. Baleno is prone to kill suspension bushes and you always need to change the suspension arms, replacing bushes doesnt works.
The car works flawlessly on CNG if it does, If it starts to give issues no car is worse.
Petrol average is around 13 km/L and gives around 16-18 km/Kg on CNG.
The size of the car is perfect, But it needs maintainence, You can drive it with oil and plug changes, mechanics run away from this car, If you find an excellent car and you think you can maintain the car its a wonderful buy.
