no sir !! company not only claims ......it really gives 14 km/ltr but without AC .......but i have noticed one thing tht worst come to worst on full load i.e AC it will giv 12 km/ltr not less than tht !!!
b4 this 2.OD i had GLi equivalent to XLi engine wise ! ven i purchased this 2.OD i was amazed at its consumption !!! as compared to xli ,gli its much better ....very very economical car !!

yes u r ryt accelaration on 2.OD IS QUITE GOOD !! ppl keep sayin and laughing at others afta listening tht it has great great powerful engine...i also used 2 do the same ....!! But once u will drive a 2.OD u will agree with us tht it has a very powerful engine !!
let me tell u some + points of OD :
usually on slopy surfaces (on slopes) ven we apply brakes and then we suddenly try to move our car in forward direction (petrol cars ) they make some screetching sound.they not hav enough power to move immediately
This is not the problem in 2.OD !
petrol cars start knocking if they r in 3rd gear at a speed of 20 but diesel cars dont have this problem ! and also in 4th gear at a speed of 30 or 40 petrol cars usually start knocking !
2.OD is not meant for drag racing etc but i can guarantee u on highways 2.OD s gonna kick every petrol car including my beautiful CIVIC !!! No car civic , altis ,lancer or liana will even come near to 2.OD on highways !
Good sound sysytem ??? so ppl will noe tht u r coming !! a very very cheap idea !!!
we should have a good sound system in car but not for these cheap purposes khud kya behray hein jo full volume per chalaye ?????
