Compensation Cheque from Atlas Honda for LATE delivery

Honda is a worse choice - and I am still waiting my car delivery from 8 months. It was booked on September 2017. this is more than half a year. In Pakistan it is strange country, you pay for the service but you again wait in queue for months to get your service. We people are so crazy about these pipa cars even they don't provide you simple air bags in 1.6 car. What is so special about Honda cars? for 8 months I should have invested my money Almost 2,000,000 PKR to get benefit. In every forum I will speak against this company as much as I can...

I got compensation cheque of almost 33,500.
Booked in Jul 2017 with 50% amount
TDD was 28 feb 2018
Paid all remaining amount in 1st week of jan 2018
Got delivery on 6 feb 2018
Compensation cheque was despatched in start of march

A delay would result in the company offering a discounted price at Kibor plus 2% prevailing on the date of final delivery, a move aimed at shortening the timeframe of the process.

SO ITS ACTUALLY A DISCOUNT FOR THE CUSTOMER !!

For anyone who thinks that the amount paid by Atlas Honda is INTEREST or DISCOUNT or LOLLIPOP for being a loyal customer. At-least have the courage to call it what it actually is a penalty fee or a compensation which the company is not paying happily or willingly but has rather been forced to pay to its customer due to the Auto Development Policy 2016.

Atlas Honda is no bank, investment company or a asset management firm paying you interest or bonuses so you should be grateful they are compensating you for not delivering on their commitment and you have the right to demand this compensation if you have been delayed.

Atlas invests the money we give on booking and earn substantial interest income on it. Unlike Indus which only takes 5 lacs at booking time, the greedy lot at Atlas takes 50% at booking to make more money on their investments. They are just paying part of that invested money to Consumers as they are forced to give them the penalty amount. However, from what I've seen in few cases, the amount given is less than what it should be but no one really checks the calculation and they are just happy that they received something.

I have booked city aspire 1.5 MT on 10th Dec,2018 and paid balance payment on 10-02-2018. The delivery date was 31st Mar,2018. I received a call from the dealer on 5th Apr,2018 that the price has been increased by Rs.100,000.00. Pay this amount of increase so that vehicle can be released from the factory for delivery. On 20th Apr,2018 i called the dealer for delivery status, he told me that their was no production of manual aspire 1.5 since Mar,18 and there will be no production in Apr,2018, he also said sorry for the inconvenience . The production will be in the month of May,18. On 4th May, i called him and he said still he got no information or confirmed date for the production of car. Still i am waiting for the car. Honda does not have business ethics and has unsatisfactory performance. Charging a lot. This was my first car booked from Honda and it will be last car of life from Honda.

After how much time you got compansation.delivery in april and cheque received?

My car was due at March 30th 2017, got delivery on April 10. So it was 10 days late and I received my compensation check in June 05 so basically it took a month after delivery.

Mine was due on 28/02/2018 , delivered on 19/03/2018.
nothing as yet from the vendour.

mine was 31st march for 1.5 manual...but i had changed the version from 1.5 to 1.3 on 19 april and got the delivery on 22 april....from honda avenue

Today i requested on whatsapp . They confirmed cheque be delivered this week.

Aoa. Dear members, I booked a Honda City 1.5 MT in Oct 2017 which was delivered in Feb 2018. I have been sending emails to Honda for 2-3 weeks now asking for my compensation cheque but no one at their end is paying heed. It seems all my emails are falling on deaf ears.

Will someone advise whom to contact. No one answers the numbers available on their website.
