Dear All, can anyone please guide how to reissue the compensation PO by Honda. I booked my car in June with full payment and received in November. Regarding compensation PO, when I checked with Honda. They said it delivered in Jan 2019 but I didn't receive it on my mailing address nor it is with my Honda dealer. Please guide how to reissue the PO/cheque

hi,i just needed to confirm ,i had booked honda city 1.5 auto in july 2018 and was given an expected date of delivery for 20 october 2018 ,i was later told that there is a delay because production had stopped and this continued till jan 2019 and there in i was told i would get the car by feb 28 2019 ,the full payment was done by september 12 2018 so the late delivery is almost 3 months and 20 days .

i got a cheque for only 9 thousand rupees,can somebody tell me the exact calculation on how the late payment is calculated because seeing the above conversation i should have been reimbursed a little more.

If i am not wrong its calculated Kibor+2, after the lapse of 60 days of full payment. you can calculate accordingly.

WHAt the the of kibor ,I don’t know from where to calculate the value

I think Kibor back in Jan was around 10% and add 2% which means total 12% and calculate for one month and 20 days on outstanding amount excluding WHT. see what figure do you get.

why only for one month and 20 days ?the car was delivered after 5 month and 20 days after the full payment was done

I guess you have changed car variant from like manual to auto so is the case with me also.......they said bec you have changed car variant so your booking date starts from new conversion date.

I didn’t change the variant neither the colour

You must ask for full compensation.

Apparently it’s Hondas policy on not divulging information but I just needed to know how much wouldn’t the compensation be for this delay
