Is the compound polish is good for vehicle body paint or just polish or wax is sufficient..
Compound Polish is not for regular use. It is only used for removing marks/swirls or minor scratches as it affects paint layer.
Polish/wax is to be used normally to maintain the paint and shine.
Regular wash and wax is good enough, for taking care of your ride, however, it does not remove minor scratches, swirl marks, etc. Compound polish (or cutting cream, etc.) takes care of such issues, but at the cost of paint thickness, etc.
Wax or polish your car once or twice a month is more than enough. I have seen people washing car after2,3 days and do polish or wax after washing car. They said k gari ka paint protect rehta hai asey. which is true lekan 2 dink bad wash and polish means applying polish 3 times a week on a car is just waste of money and time.

There is a difference between wax and polish as well. Polish does remove a very thin layer of paint whereas a compound (depending on its specs) can remove more of paint layer.
So just to keep your car look good and shiny use a good wax. I have used Mother's FX synwax which had best results for dark colors. And now using 3M Perfect-It Show car wax which has extra ordinary results again for dark colors. And i personally keep dark color cars as its more satisfying looking at them when clean
I am using shinex for now. its about to finish now. so looking forward for formula car wax. what do you guys say about it ?
