Okay so I have a Vezel Z, driven 128K kms still going strong. I'm not entirely familiar with the kia but I'll tell you about the Vezel experience. First of all the Vezel is unparalleled in Power, Sure the Kia is a 2.0T and the Vezel is only a 1.5 Hybrid but in real life, and this is to my testing Vezel achieves 0 to 100 in only 7.6 seconds while Sportage is somewhere at 8 or 9 seconds and 0 to 180 of Vezel is somewhere at 27 28 seconds. The gearbox which is a dual clutch is basically a manual, but it shifts itself, not to be confused with a regular automatic. Yes sure the Vezel is a bit jerky at low speeds (nothing undriveable). But when you're driving at a higher speed (example 40km/h +) no other gearbox is nearly as smooth. Fuel economy is 17 to 19 kmpl in city and 23 to 25 on long routes. Vezel is loaded with convenience features such as Rain sensing wipers, Heated Wipers and Door Mirrors, Automatic Lights, Honda Sensing (Adaptive Cruise, Lane Sensing etc.). The only cons I see in the Vezel are the Suspension which is a little harder than usual but that makes up for it with superb handling, you'll feel like you're driving a Civic rather than a crossover. The second con that I see would be the Hybrid Battery replacement which is supposed to be after 7 or 8 Years. There is a rumor that vezel gearbox fails, that rumor is false, the only reason why Vezel gearbox breaks is because you need to change the actuator fluid every 20K kms which keeps the gearbox temperature low, this costs around 750/- Rs. Just keep continuos maintenance and you'll be fine, my car is proof it's been as high as mushkpuri top no problems at all. Buying a Vezel I feel money is actually saved since a Zero Meter Vezel RS brand new is maximum 58 lacs or Z package (more comfortable) is 53 Lacs. Then you will also save a lot of money on fuel seeing Vezels great fuel average and since Vezel has been in the Pakistani market for around 5 years so its resale is much better than that of Sportage at least for now.
