Confused about tyre pressure

The recommended tyre pressure mentioned on the driver door side is 220 kPa (31.9psi) for 165/70 r14 tyre.

But now the tyres are changed to 185/70 r14.
So should I go with the recommended pressure or not?
What is the recommended pressure for this size?

NO. If you have moved from 165/70/R14 to 185/70/R14, then definitely, you are gonna reduce tyre pressure in new tyres, otherwise, ride would become extremely bumpy, uncomfortable, etc. more importantly, your car's suspension would take a toll! If you keep 32 psi in new tyres.

What is the recommended pressure for this size?

IMO, tyre pressure somewhere in-between 28-30 psi would suffice in new tyres.

I do this. If motorways 32psi, it gives awesome fuel economy and maneuverability. If local or bumpy roads then 30psi is best.

Yes. I also do the same.

On motorways, I keep tyre pressure higher by 1-2 psi, when compared to city travelling.
