Confused between hybrid and non hybrid which one to buy

Hello everyone i am confused between aqua and gli 2015 model, konsi buy kroon aqua ka milage acha haii lkn batteries and abs kaa issue common hai

Hybrids are expensive to maintain. After few years, if battery needs replacement it will take away all the saving.

As regards to comfort and interior, no match with G(a)li

Both have pros and cons. However personally, I would always prefer hybrid over non hybrid and that too a japanese toyota over indus corolla. Aqua will save you alot in fuel expense and give a comfortable drive. You just have to be careful in buying a hybrid car checking its battery health etc. Corolla, on the other hand is easy to maintain and parts are much cheaper. So its about your priorities.

Owning and maintaining a prius is same expense as owning a camry or something bigger,

The only differnce is that what it saves you on fuel expense is pulled out in repairs, because the brake eh unit, the battery unit, the transmission oil pump, the inverter coolant pump and general maintenance is quite some magnitudes more than a corolla that is made in Pakistan.

And in Pakistan a made in Pakistan corolla is far better than a scrapped japanese domestic model. The Pakistani one is built and specced for Pakistani market, (just take a look at the cv joints, the control arm bushings, the amount of primer and paint on the car compared to a scapped car from japan)

Dont simply fall for the “seeten dekho, dijitall aesee check karo zara, etc etc.

Forget the battery, the brake eh unit (aka brake booster in Pakistan) is about 120 - 140k in scrap in Pakistan and about 2200 usd for a new one), and it requires a proper scan tool to check and install.

Hybrids are more expensive specially in Pakistans current financial situation.

Take an example:

Hybrid: costs 40 lacs
Normal: 30 lacs

That’s already a 10 lacs saving if you buy non hybrid.. Imagine how much petrol you’ll have to burn for Aqua to take over in cost savings.

Next: by the time you run 5-10 lacs of petrol, the hybrid will already need quite a bit of maintenance and replacement of parts as Japanese hybrids here often come with failing or kabli parts.

If price difference in your targeted models isn’t big n hybrid has perfect battery and ABS pack, then hybrid can be considered.

Keep in mind it’ll hit speed breakers.

I have a solution to your confusion. Dont buy any. Get a 2006 to 2012 clean 1 lac driven below Axio. Its avg on isb highway is 16 to 17 with ac and normally it gives 13 to 14. Dont buy luxel which 1.8. Buy a 1.6 axio. Pay an extra lac or 2 but pick up the cleanest car.
