Confused bw honda city vario 2005/6 and civic prosmatec 2005/6 and passo 2006/7

What should be the best choice in all aspects .

I was in the same dilemma. So what I did is I went to different showrooms to gauge prices, feel the cars by sitting in them, test their comfort, leg rooms, sitting posture etc. It gave me a general idea of what I wanted to buy.

Originally, I had my eyes on 2004-2005 prosmetic but after I sat in one and drove around. I didn't like the driving position, the drive itself wasn't bad though. After considering the aforementioned con coupled with its poor fuel average, it wasn't ticking all the boxes so I started looking for varios.

Intial impression was good, the interior wasn't bland (compared to prosmetic), I liked the drive and the sitting position. Its fuel efficient and I was getting a good deal.

But it comes down to what you like vs what you can afford.

What do you personally like? Both are good cars, prosmetic is a little heavy on the wallet (fuel, maintenance). But on the other hand, it's also a bit stable on the road with good brakes.

As for Vario, it's better value for money, it's fuel efficient with cheap maintenance.

So, what do you prefer?

Bro i prefer cheap maintenance and good fuel avey as a ordinary person who need a car for daily purpose and some times will go on long routes like lahore khunjrab .
So i need a good car in all aspects in my limited 9lac budget . Should be auto transmission.
I searched out about all cars in this budget finally come up with these three cars civic city passo which comes under my budget .

What's your opinion about passo or any other car in this budget considering my mind set ?

I would be biased in suggesting Vario because I personally don't like Civic. But relatively speaking, it's a good car and I am enjoying it.

I have no clue about Passo. Let someone else chime in for that.

I have kept a 2004 city idsi manual, sold it some months ago. It was super fuel efficient. 15 kmpl in city with ac. Would go to 16kmpl without ac in winters. AC was perfect. I travelled on long route with 6 persons (although very compromised, but in emergency) in july summer and the AC didn't let us down. We travelled at 120 130 and it still returned 17kmpl. This car would never disappoint u.
All u have to do is look for a nice car. Beware of dealers, there a lot on this car. Avoid the car if the seller is not the owner in documents. The engine is changed with L13A in 90 percent of these cars, make sure u match the engine number from the documents.

if you don't reside in karachi, take civic off the list as you won't find a mint car in 9 lacs.
As for passo or vario, Vario has local support but passo does not, with being said, finding an non-abused vario is quite difficult as those were the first of the cvts in Pakistan and very few local mechanics knew what to do with them.

if you could mention your vehicle utility, and your knowledge about cars, i can give a better suggestion as what would suit you

City is a better option with trunk unlike passo for daily purpose with cheap maintenance.
