Confused with a Honda civic 2006

I am new here, new with this forum discussions as well as this is my first time I am posting my problem
I am buying my first car and have trouble purchasing as I don't know nothing about cars and how to check and even don't know how to drive properly
I have seen a honda Civic 2006 vti oriel prosmatic full optionall the owner is friend of my very close friend the car is in very good condition neat and clean but the car has 2 dents on the roof and you can see them properly is it cool to buy the car with roof dents and he is asking 925000 for the car he told me he had an accident and the left door has been replaced but he did not do nothing with the roof as he want to keep it original
Let me know your thoughts as I am very very confused

What city are you from? and as a first car, civic isn't a good idea, if you want to learn to drive, buy a cheap car, one whose spares are easy to source and once learnt to drive properly, sell the car and buy a better one

I am from lahore I use to think the same but then my friend bought his first car a month ago and he told me it doesn't matter it takes you a weak to get you hand set on the car and drive it like a pro

My budget is 10 lac maximum and I live in lahore I told the buyer that I will get you car inspected by pakwheels but he said no Nobody else know better then me about the car and I am telling you the trurh and he said pakwheels carsure is not trustworthy and reliable

Get the car inspected by a reliable mechanic, denter/ painter and an electrician. CarSure is also an option. 10 Lacs is not a small amount. Better get the car inspected before buying. A door has been replaced and the roof has got dents.
By the way, do consider Toyota Corolla as your first car too. It's cheaper on the maintenance too.

You should get the car properly inspected from some reliable denter and mechanic for any issues. No matter what the owner says. A car is easier to buy but harder to maintain if its not in a good shape.
925K is still on the higher side. But Once you are satisfied with the condition of the car, paying a little high for some clean ride isn't a big deal.

The door is replaced and you don't know whether the accident was minor or major so better get the car inspected from a reliable and good denter

Price point is subjective. It depends on what you are willing to pay for what you're getting but as per your description the car's price is not commensurate with market value I.e, demand is high. And whatever the condition of car, keep in mind further expenditure of 20k minimum for all oils, lubricants, filters, plugs and tuning etc.

Sure I will get it inspected through a good reliable source and if there is something that makes me deel i am paying a bit high for the car I will drop the idea of purchasing it and move on

Owner refusing a third party inspection is usually a good sign that you should stay away from that car.

Lol. Not everyone learns so quickly, it variates from person to person. "Drive like a pro" lol, no, bro, just no. Driving is no joke, especially in today's condition, i would highly suggest get a mehran or a khyber or a cultus, easy to maintain and easy to learn on. Get the expensive complicated cars later once you understand things. Simple cars are better for rookie mistakes, costs less to fix, complicated cars come with complicated for minor mistakes.

Thats my take on it. Secondly, a 2006 oriel prosmatic in lahore with a door replaced and roof dents shouldn't be worth more than 8.5 given its just panel damage and not chassis damage

Listen to dayrider and leave this civic idea. If you know how to drive get a brand new wagon R. If dont know than get cultus or 2nd hand wagon R. Big cars need deep pockets. As a new bee get some thing simple.
