Considering getting a 4X4 for commute

Salam. I drive an FX everyday in Karachi from F.B Area to Korangi and back which is around 32 KM a day. Problem is that the road near Korangi is extremely damaged. Since the FX is a 1988 model and despite carefully driving it, I've managed to get problems with my master cylinder twice and have had to replace two tyres now in the span of 7 months since I started driving.
I don't have a huge budget (1 million at best) and I just want a car that can survive what is generally best described as "off-roading" along with a decent AC and whatnot. There are no new options in this range so obviously was considering what would be the best option for me in terms of mileage as well. I've looked into Potohars and Mini Pajeros but finding parts or a car that doesn't require constant attention from mechanics is what I also want

Similarly its seems halva before buying SUV. But I bet these rides have much higher maintenance expense as compared to regular cars.

If possible then try to increase your budget a bit more and find some old model Vitz like 2005-2010 models. Their suspension is much better than PKDMs.

Or if not possible to increase the budget then try to find Indus Corolla of 1995-2001 models. They are far better built and easily re-sale too. You won’t regret your decision. Each & every part is still available in market.
