Convert Carbaurator Mehran to EFI, HOW?

how to convert old mehran (2010 model-VX) to EFI? will the KM/L increase? by how much? what will be the expense? who can do it?

EFI kit lgane k sath petrol tank main bhi modification karwani paregi... plus filhaal itni expertise nh hain kisi bhi roadsidw mechanic ko k Wo apko trouble free kaam kark de.. i have got two mehrans , one is 2010 medel and da other is EFi.. carby one is also working fine..

go to chah sultan and get a engine of alto 660cc. that will increase more mileage than pakistani efi car will give more than 14 kmpl in city not know about long
and it will cost u 25k to 35k

that lower side is basically a higher side! engine cc does not depend! what matters is the hp output of the engine if u want to measure the power! efi is greater than carb! have u ever driven 660cc alto? i guess not cause if u had driven it then u had a clear idea of what that mini engine is capable of!

mira is same car comes with efi 660cc which have more power and pick also better fuel average than pakistani 847cc carby

Although it is not adviseble to convert or upgrade a newly manufactured ( 3 years old like the poster) to change to EFI due to cost effectiveness and out come .
but many solutions you got , let me start from the easy one to the difficult one

1- if your present engine is in good shape and condition /smoke less ...than it can be very easily sold completely with gear box. and after selling you can buy the new mehran (F-8 efi ) engine.
2- you can change your inlet manifolds and some other slight changes will make ur car to be same efi on like pak suzuki done on 1980 era engine. which produces less HP .
3- the third one is to have a complete half cut of JDM alto and Get that efi engine with complete wiring ecu and every thing . if some one have any doubt while comparing 660cc engine with 1980 designed 796cc than he must have to take a drive of any manual JDM alto , i have kept a few and they were excellent .
normally auto transmission in small engines is not that much effective and in terms reduce efficiency as well as power due to many factors.

Plz go to Sultan na Khu Rawalpindi, remember this name "Badar Butterfly" near by Pulli, he expert in carborator and very famous. My Mehran is 2006 model and gives 22 km / per liter on long and in city also gives good milage.

Old thread - anyways, I went to Badr and was disappointed - he saw my autochoke Khyber carb and said "iss ki choke kaam nahi kar rahi, yeh carburetor waise bhi nakaam hai naya dal wa lein"

This was news to me - I had personally made the choke functional a few months ago. Anyways...

Badr might be good, but they don't seem too interested in anything that requires an extensive rebuild.

I wish PakSuzuki starts selling these kits to make normal Mehran EFI, eco friendly and more milage. Pabandi to lagni nahe kabhi kisi gari pr.

The difference between carby and early gens efi is head. Search in the scrap yard for a dead efi engine. Take the head off and all there efi stuff. Rebuild the head and put it on your engine.
