Convert ur pre/cassete player to USB mp3 player

Here is something what i did a while back:

Now i can simply connect my ipod or any other music playback device which supports 3.5mm jack. I can also connect to the jack to the input/output of the fm modulator if i want to playback from USB flash via the modulator. No soldering or tinkering with the circuitry of the modulator is required.

^^ thats what i keep on trying to tell you guys that you dont need to open up your modulator stuff for this thing simply use 3.5 mm male end as above and you can plug in your cell phone or what ever that has same port. good job @d_a

i just found out there is no aux so i went to an electonic repair shop he said that he can pull out an AUX point from my pre if it supports video for Rs. 200...
so i can connect my modulator with it ...n thanks for ur support too...issue resolved_!

i hav done this butt was unsuccessful in tuner mode i can still hear the sound of radio behind and in cd mode the sound of cd playing
my pre is kenwood kdc-mp333v plzz tell me wat should i do and the sound is also very low...

^^^^i also need to do same so need expert opinions........i havn't opened my player and taken it out........dont know if it will hav AUX input option as it is 9 yrs old player.....btw its pioneer KEH-P5015

THATS why to get rid of all this fuss i got my self a JVC kdr-411 pre

if u got a pre just open it up and find three pins like things on the main board or the board under the cd mechanism it will be written like left channel ground right channel than than take an aux wire strip it and u will find three wires solder the left chanel on the left chanel and the right with the right and ground with ground than close the pre and write a cd with a silent song while on cd mode just plug the aux in phone or mp3 player and play the song

currently i am using the data cable cassette in my car and its very good. it is also a good option without opening up any stuff

i have this player in my car...normally i use a 3.5 mm cable to connect my mobile to play song but the voice is slow...so i want to connect fm modulator with it...how will i do it???

I got it for just 100 yesterday at a photocopy shop. Using it with my Corolla's stock cassette player and results are amazing with MP3 player and phone. It also works as handsfree. Very very economical solution. Also used it on my oldie double cassette deck at home and worked well.

can anyone tell me about the presence of AUX in my pre.. its the stock cassette player in a cultus 06.. and also
@poster how the aux is enabled (when do it starts playing what is coming from aux or switching from aux to radio or cassette) as there is no aux button to play the sound coming from the AUX like the one's in the bigger CD player decks at home
