Going back to the original quesion. I don't think the full TJ body bolts onto a CJ chassis. There will be mods required to either the mounts or the chassis itself as the TJ frame is slightly wider. In any case, given costs and preferences these days, it does make more sense to keep the CJ with the original body....
If you really want the TJ look (which is fair enough too) maybe you should look into finding the front clip (along with fender flares), as despite a gazillion attempts, no one to date has been able to get the TJ front 100% spot on in all local conversions I have seen. A whole new range of Jeep fronts has been designed locally and some are aesthetically workable, but none is really in line with the exact TJ shape. I don't know why that is the case as the measurements are pretty similar from what I know, though the fitting on the frame is different. BTW the right person for you to talk to here is Nikku Ustad at Citi Sadar Road, as he has done this first hand in a number of ways...
Legally speaking, my take is that one has to be smart and keep it down to a "conversion" rather than being cocky and do a "slap Wrangler on CJ frame".....
