Converting Suzuki Swift DLX 1.3 (2017) to JDM ZC31s

Hello,
Hope you are all are doing well.

I am planning to convert my Suzuki Swift DLX 1.3 (2017) to ZC31. I am planning to do it first in appearance ("Aesthetically") and then I will proceed with M16 and other mechanical parts as well.

I have found the bumpers, lights and clock and everything in the market (Quetta/Peshawar/Lahore/Karachi) but I am worried about the measurements of bumpers and parts and sourcing them outside of my city since customs are actively holding stuff (Except clock).

I tried finding videos or someone who have done it in past but failed. If there is anyone who can guide me or confirm that it is possible without any major hassle.

PS: I am from Karachi.

Hi Brother, This can be done easily, as the fitments are not any different from PKDM to JDM, I have personally installed JDM projector head lamps and JDM Clock and still waiting for bumpers & side skirts to arrive.

Nothing is difficult to do its just finding the right person who can do it for you. Please do share your query here so we can discuss and upgrade to JDM ZC31s.

I am also finalizing the source of the bumpers, can you share where exactly did you source your bumpers from and how much are they costing you ?
I don't have any specific query, I have heard that PKDM and JDM have different measurements when it comes to fitting an M16.
Please do share your final look when you are done with your project.

sir @thecasualshezzy over the registration invoice and the documents it will remain a PKDM Suzuki. You will lose heavily by all means specially if you swap to a scrapyard engine as well.

I am not really worried about the car resale value at the moment, treating it like a project car.
Wouldn't ruin it for myself.

I'm curious if they use halogen or xenon bulbs. I'm considering installing JDM projector headlamps as the original ones are starting to fall apart, and sure it doesn't require any modification.

They use xenon bulbs and yes, there are modifications required. There is a change in Assembly as the JDM projectors run on single light and blaster instead of two different lights.
Additionally you can also get the adjuster switch

that looks like this which can be used to adjust headlights angle, this requires a separate 3 / 2 wire connection with the projector headlight motors

Sorry for the late response, the JDM Headlamps for ZC31s use Xenon Bulbs, with projector lenses. I have changed mine from stock dlx headlights to JDM ones, wiring will definitely needs a little bit of modification but nothing major and can be easily done by a good electrician. Headlight pair costed me 25K and installation etc around 4K.

I sourced them from Quetta, the set of front and back bumpers costed me 70K and the side skirts for 20K. The fitment will remain same and regarding fitting an M16 enginge it will be a bolt on fit there is no different measurements for it.

How much did the front and rear bumper cost you? I had ordered from an a person in Quetta and the bumper came with multiple damages, the rear with broken grill had no option but to send back and get a refund. Please do let me know if you have a reliable source as it was all a hassle to return back items via courier and then get my payment back.

The bumpers initially costed me around 48k. Got in contact with a Pathan bhai who helped me get a lot of stuff but recently he just stopped responding to any query, not sure why.
I can get you in contact with a person in Rwp who might have the bumpers and everything you can think of swift.

And yes the bumpers do come a little damaged and you always end up getting slightly repaired, getting a perfect bumper is a luxury we might not have from Quetta but from other cities like LHR or RWP.
Also these upgrades are never ending, you always want the next thing after something so be prepared before you step in this moneypit.
