Coolant Guidance About AE101

I am planning to make a shift from water to coolant this summer in our ae101 4afe 1.6. Please Guide me that what is the coolant capacity in this car including the engine and radiator everything. And what coolant is good to use?

Use caltex or aisin. Quantity of ready mix will be about 4L. But if u buy concentrated then u have to add distilled water to make it 4L

Good coolant lasts minimum 100k to 160k kilometers. So never ever cheap-out on coolant. Buy genuine Toyota coolant it is easily available.

please use only Caltex or Aisin brand coolant. your vehicle coolant capacity is approx 4.3 liter. drain 100%. Then pour 2 bottles of coolant (1 liter concentrate) and top up distilled water. top up reservoir tank with distilled water. make sure to remove trapped air by inserting a long funnel at radiator neck. at least 2 cycle of automatic fan be waited to burp air from system.
