Coolant Leakage from Reservoir Tank

I have recently changed coolant of my Wagon R (2015) which has clocked 40k km. I have been observing that the reaervoir tank has stains of coolant leakage. Can you guys advise whats wrong here? Is the cap and its seal faulty?

You have filed it to the brim. it has a max mark above that after the car get temperature it will over flow. fill you reservoir to the max mark and bleed the system.

Its filled upto the max mark, not above that. Its a bit lower now due to this minor leakage.

Where is the pipe/tube that goes inside the cap?

There isn't any, is there suppose to be ?

Yes it is necessary otherwise how will the coolant in reserve be sent to the radiator.

Its probably fallen off and is inside the bottle, - its only as tall as the bottle lower mark. Attach it to the cap and tie it with a cable tie so it doesnt fall off.

bro i checked the reservoir today, the pipe is there. I took this pic which i shared a few weeks back and i took the pipe off to see if it were blocked or not. Anyhow, the issue is still there, the leakage is from the cap i assume. Still cant figure whats the reason.

connect the little pipe/tube use cable tie as clamp on it - drain the reservoir till its only at max level and leave it alone.

the little leakage you will see around the top is just condensation from the breather vent on the cap. An active liquid dripping leak is a problem, just small moisture is not.

You probably had a severe overflow problem because the inner pipe was missing. (it functions as a straw in a juice pack)

Well, the problem persisted, until the coolant bottle reached low level. I went to the show room, he just filled water into the bottle and now the problem is gone. I think the coolant is to be used diluted, the problem was arising because when I replaced the coolant, the other showroom just added the coolant and no dilution. Hope it helps

Suzuki OEM coolant comes pre-mixed. No need to add water to it.

It does come diluted but couldn't explain the leaking. After much fiddling around with the cap and bottle, this seems the logical explanation.
