Copenhagen to Keukenhof (Netherland) Road Trip

Salam all pakwheelers
Last week we had Easter holidays in Denmark. And I definitely need a relaxing break after a busy & hectic work routine for over 6 months at office..... So whats better than a long road trip ..... so here are some of the pics for that road trip (Denmark to Netherland via Germany) to share with you guys.
Its a 3 day trip. And the main goal is to visit Keukenhof (Tullips Garden) which is open from 19 mar - 21 May this year during spring. It is voted several times as the most beautiful place to visit plus the most photographed spot in the world :P

Wheels: Ford Escort 1.6
Passengers: Me & my wife.

Day 1 (07-04-2009)

Distance travelled: around 580 KM
We started our journey from Copenhagen till Rødby (Denmark).

From Rødby we took the ferry to Puttgarden (Germany)

and from Puttgarden to Bremen via Autobahn A1

Day 2 (08-04-2009)

Distance travelled:

around 400 KM

We started early in the morning at 600 hrs from Bremen ==] Amsterdam ==] Lisse (Keukenhof) to spend whole day there. Unfortunately it was raining heavily there but still it was amazing.

Day 3 (09-04-2009)

Distance Travelled: around 950 KM

On our return we decided not to come via ferry but instead go to Odense (Denmark) to visit a friend and then by road come to Copenhagen via Odense Bridge (around 20KM in length)

Hitting the AutoBahn A1

At AI , cars passes in such a speed that I didnt take a risk to take photgraphs myself, so all the pics on road were taken by my wife .... so bear with it :A

Stopped to stretch my legs a bit :-)

traffic is blocked due to construction work going on .... have to wait about 1 hr :'(

Distance travelled so far 380 KM and fuel tank is about 60% used up :o

reached Bremen at around 1900 hrs. Have to wake up early next morning ... so we just hit the bed at 2000 hrs.

Now I have to decide whether stay at office and posting pics from office internet and wait for my wife's 2nd phone call with angry tone .... Or just go home and eat haleem which she cooked on my fermaish ....
