Need help in making a decision on which car to purchase My budget is around 20 and I’m having a hard time to choose between corolla or civicFuel average-Reliability- Resale- Spare parts-
Also is there anything I need to know before purchasing either one of them and the PakWheels inspection is it accurate?
Pakwheels inspection is shit. Both cars are equally good and new parts prices are not that different.So, purchase any which u like but u can get a new model corolla easily as compared to civic.
Mileage of Corolla is 11-13 km on long and 8-9 with in city.

As per my experience multiple times, the service is good.
I would recommend to test drive both vehicles. Get hold of some colleagues ride or rent a car for an hour or so. In term of spares resale fuel economy both cars are identical and comparable. The thing you should be looking for is drive comfort and interior. For example my brother owns a vitz its a superb car but i m not comfortable with its drive plus interior my brother loves it. So go for the vehicle that YOU love driving.

Compare 1.3 auto gli with 1.3 prosmatic city
Civic is 1000 times better than Corolla GLI any day!Buy a prosmatec oriel and enjoy.GLI has nothing to offer. Auto 1.3 is very sluggish car and is very heavy on patrol. Worst fuel economy.Civic rebirth has a good resale as well and offers same fuel average as a GLI 1.3 auto will.
I was comparing in average, spare, resale and reliability, that is what the OP is interested in. Of course there is no comparison of 1.3 and 1.8 in term of performance.
I have always owned a honda city mostly because i really hate corolla interior and drive. But there are people who are die hard fans of corolla. They have their own reasons. If you cant decide which car to buy keep the options open and grab the first clean car you find. My observation: its v had to find a clean corolla, somehow corollas are the most abused vehicles on road. Those who have clean corollas ask for a chat phar type of amount. If you are living in big city you can easily find a saaf civic. Good luck
Corolla depends on its variant..xlis are mostly abused... People fan of Corolla vs civic are using 1.8 variants.nit 1.3 i guees
Xli gli totally taxi class u can see a bunch of them on every taxi stand ... civic has class , executive feel
Off topic. Didn't buy waves refrigerator for the same reason despite recommendation by many near and dear ones. Every gawala shop has one. Class nh ha bought a pel instead.
If u want dheet featured cars, then try getting cruisetronic/Grande, if u find in near condition m other than that..civic is better in every aspect than a Gli/Xli
