I bought it in feb with a #mileage of 12.9 km/L. After the first oil change it started dropping daily and is now on 11.4. I changed the oil as per old version, kixx 10 W 30, and got it Toyota tuned too... The only diff is that i started using AC but it had no big issues with AC in start. any guru here ? #toyota #general-car-discussion
i take it that you are reading off the meter, that isn't accurate, gli auto has around 11kml in local
Anything above 11 KMPL is pretty good for this Auto 1.3 Corolla.
Avoid taking meter seriously... Ur car is beyond ok ..elese gli auto does max 10-10.5 kmpl
What is the mileage of your car, its gear oil needs replacement at 40k kms, if its not done earlier do it at the earliest
You are getting good mileage with AC In my case, i get 11 with minimum load and in smooth traffic.
Irony is we spend more money on improving a reasonably good mileage and end up loosing more money than actually saving from fuel. Gli auto is a heavily underweight car and anyone getting over 10kmpl is having a perfectly ok car. Meter is useless when it comes to fuel average..and this appies to all cars.
Check Catalytic converter may be choked.

1km difference between auto and manual. Auto normally gives 10.5 to 11 and manual 11 to 11.5 and max 12 without ac.
