Corolla 1.6 Automatic 20-21 Vs Corolla 1.8 19 Model

ASSALAM O ALAIKUM. I want honest review from there owners. I am confused between both.

As 1.6 is 4 speed and 1.8 is CVT 7 speed. My usual drive is in congested areas and also on longer routes. Like Karachi congested areas and then on highway to HYD or in interior Sindh side.

I want to know what's the fuel difference ? I heard that grande gives better fuel average in city on highway it takes the lead due to CVT against 1.6 4 speed AT.

So I am confused. Also 19 model grande and 1.6 20-21 1.6 AT Corolla in what current price bracket I can get a good piece any price estimates ?

I’ll just add a couple of small points.
1.8 Grande is a clear winner provided you find a well maintained vehicle with service history and mileage not too high. It has better overall drive, better fuel economy, and far better equipped.
The only advantage 1.6 would have would be a lower price (if similar model year) or newer vehicle (if you are considering in same budget).
I would say, decide your budget and go for the cleanest and lowest mileage Grande available in it. You won’t regret it.

No comparison at all brother.

Grande wins hands down, much superior car and the mod year difference doesn’t matter at all.

Just find one in good condition, non accidental.

Fuel average of grande is better then Altis 1.6 because of Cvt.
