I have bought a Corolla 2001 (Diesel to 1300cc EFI Petrol Converted). The car is fitted with CNG. I do not have slight knowledge about maintenance of cars and would highly appreciate to have your responses & positive opinion against the following things:-
- How much mileage would this car give in petrol vs driven in CNG? I have been told by my brother to remove the CNG from it as there is no difference in terms of fuel consumption in either of the two in case of 1300cc EFI.
- Since the car is second handed (may be came from it being driven by 3~4 owners or more); what basic maintenance things am i supposed to be performing and after how much time? I only know about engine oil change (after 3000kms).
Please advise.
Your replies would be highly appreciated - as I would be taking the car in a day or two to the mechanic for getting some mechanical things done. I might remove the CNG kit if the fuel consumption while driving it on CNG is of no saving...
