Corolla 2010 speedometer light change

I am thinking of changing my corolla xli 2010 speedometer orange light to a white one. Can anyone give suggestions how to make it like altis, i.e when i start the car, the speedo light gets turn on and when i turn on the headlights, it gets dim. I want to go cheap so anyone who has replaced this light plz tell and post some pictures. I want to know how it looks.

bro its simple. just open up the speedometer if you can there are two or three bulbs in it , just like the one in the parking lights, but those white ones from market and replace them by those, easy and simple
parking lights bulb can easily do the job

White LED bulb is not good.. try to use simple bulb or making full metre via led
