Corolla 2012 Comes with Outside Ambient Temp Sensor?

Guys i need to ask Something, Does Corolla 2012 Model XLI comes with Outside Temp in meter Cluster like 2014 2015 new Shape Model ?

I saw it in a car on Pakwheels and its Report, While Checking the Condenser it was installed there in 2012 model but i dont have that in my car neither there is anything in Cluster meter mine is 2012 XLI.

Please suggest should i get it installed one in my car ?

I havedriven this generation,s gli and it didn't show me outside temperature in meter

Yes it does have the outside temperature sensor but it doesn't display it on cluster because its for AC system to trip the AC as if outside temperature is low as in winter or autumn season lots of people drive car with Ac for being cool so it maintain the AC cooling with the outside temperature.

This is in no way wired to the ac.

So bro if i put the Sensor it will show outside Temp in cluster.

Same Model Toyota in USA and other Regions have this funciton

If your cluster has this function, it was also in the E120, the wiring plug was missing the extension piece to extend to the front bumper. But you need a gauge cluster that has a display that displays temperature - not all of them have it - and specially Pakistani ones dont.

Yes i agree with you.. I will make a video of my Cluster and will show you all Tabs in it. The Wire is hanging there but no Sensor lol.

aoa plz i have to ask that is triping of ac 1.6 gli 2012 is related to this sensor ?bcz its sending on off ac signal to compressor
