Fog lights will never give you a better visibility in my experience, I suggest you change the bulbs of your headlights to something much better than OEM like LEDs etc.

You are right bro because when you install fog lights after market they get connection form other wires so according to physics a parallel combination develops and current divides so your headlight bulbs don’t get enought Current to produce enough light what is the benefit of installing it if you are reducing the main bulb brightness
