I'm restoring my Corolla 88 (1991 registered) and have done a complete job – denting, painting, interior, everything. The car originally came with a 1300cc engine, but I installed and overhauled a 1600cc 16 Valve engine.
The issue is: the engine keeps missing, especially at higher RPMs. I've checked a lot already but the missing doesn’t go away.
Has anyone faced a similar issue or can guide me towards the best fix? Also, is it worth considering a switch to a 2D diesel engine in terms of performance and reliability? Looking for expert advice. Thanks!
