I recently bought 2014 Corolla Altis 1.6 SR. It's tires are in pretty bad shape. It's giving me fuel average in city of 8.5km/L on soft foot. I have already changed all filters, spark plugs and oils. What I am missing here that causing the low fuel average? I will be changing tires and will get a catalytic converter serviced. Pls advice and suggest a good mechanic in Karachi
sir @pwuser170576195070 there is nothing serviceable for catalytic converter., before doing any such exercise i'd recommend a compression test (wet & dry values) and change of PCV valve. You may also consider engine oil grade 5W-30 instead of any xw-40 or xw-50/

Yes. Bought for Rs 31.2. 2014, first owner, 95% original. Had install new tires, bumpers, changed all oils and filters. Altis 1.6 SR, I found only 2 from 24 Corollas I checked over a period of 2.5months
What average u want from it. in city it is ok and on long it will give 12 or 13

bro use SC16hr11 spark plug with gap 1.1mmuse 5w-30 genuine toyota oil in tin packget fuel filter changedmanifold cleaned with injectors at home.getting 10.9km/l on odo meter with moderate foot(actually 10km/l) ignition coils are chinese.car is altis 1.6 2013 with 125k runnedwhen i get that car its also give me 8km/l.
