@usmanshahzad27 Well you can have a look at the following factors to decide:
-City is sub compact whereas Corolla is compact, more seating space, bigger boot
-City 1.5 AT is 26.29lac whereas Corolla 1.6 AT is 33lacs, big price difference
-City doesn't have airbags, EBD/BA, Corolla has these
-City is 10 yrs old model with umpteen grill changes, Corolla is 6yrs old with a serious mid-cycle refresh in 2017, Corolla is more current, although rumour is that both cars will have new generations coming out H1 2021
-City doesn't have airbags, EBD, BA, Corolla has these, better safety specs
-City has a stiffer suspension setup, slightly hard for city driving, Corolla has softer suspension, makes for easier city driving, tradeoff is more confidence in City at higher speeds vs. Corolla. - personal preference wins.
-City meter cluster is aged, Corolla has a nicely laid out meter cluster with decent sized MID, City doesn't have steering controls, Corolla does.
Long story short, the price difference alone makes up for the difference between the two cars, 7lacs is a substantial amount.
You may want to hold on to your wallet till 2020 year end to see what Kia and Hyundai come up with in Sedan category i.e. maybe Cerato/Elantra, meanwhile 12th Gen Corolla and 6th/7th Gen City might also be nearing launch by then, you'll then have the option of getting a much more aesthetically/technologically updated car and you won't be worried about changing it for a good 3-5 years, although with higher prices as the case always is with generation changes.
At the end of the day, the decision is yours. Hope it helps.
Regards,
Z
