Same here. Tried it but was unable to update it. Update is possible via rooting it and then flashing it with custom rom but it would mess up the homescreen widgets, and Also I think that it would mess up the front cam and the audio controls

it means we have to use gingerbread android 2.3.7 no any other option latest version is 7.0 Nougat, well i also tried a lot but i couldnt find any way, actualy there is a lot apps in playstore those r not support gingerbread thats why i ask u here. I thought i could find atleast 5.1.1 lollipop update but we all have same problem. Thanks for reply

What I do for the unsupported apps is that find their old version apks from the internet and then sideload them on the android player. I did the same for torque pro app.
Apkmania website is a good source of finding old apks

Same here, tried updating it through many ways coz a friend is android freak and was hating gingerbread. Nothing worked. At the end of the day, its playing songs and playing videos. Konsa kuch aur karwana hai isay. Rehnay do aisay hi.
Is there any launcher that works in it?

did u get any update on this corolla altis 1.8 android update issue. wonder why these idiots included an older version of android in this car, it was blocked in 2021 (only after 4 years of launch of the car, andoid 2.3.7 wa launched in 2010)
