Which fuel ratio you people are using ?

Drive on Normal Petrol or Drive on HOC only

2 : 2 (Normal + HOC)
2 : 1 (Normal + HOC)
3 : 1 (Normal + HOC)

What effect you people noticing in performance and mileage (i am using till now on normal petrol and car give me 11.2 average 2k driven only)

Please Grande users comment only so i can get the exact answer because I have same car thankyou

my father have grande 2018 28000 kms and we use fuel from shell pump at fleet club, never used hi octane. In my Cultus i fill petrol from hascol sabzi mandi and there are no issues

I think shell is good for bikes only i mostly use caltex and attock because i am from islamabad and here these two pumps fuels are good

I don't know the mileage will go up or not but till now 11.2 km/l my car ist giving on stock tyres.

Shell pump pahjsarki near pc hotel Rawalpindi is also good. I am getting average of 24km/l in my prius 1.5 mostly driven within city.

Unless your car manual specify to use hi octane fuel, you don't have to use it. Mostly people mix it with regular fuel to compensate for the low octanes in regular fuel. Many company operated pumps provide good quality use regular petrol from reputed pumps.

Using hi octane also cause more carbon deposits in engine not designed for it. Used only regular fuel in our family cars which include Civic, Gli, WagonR and Grande. Running perfectly fine. Always top the tank when it reaches half from our trusted pumps.

Hi-octane is meant for cars with high compression engines. Pak manufactured cars don’t fall in that category. It’s waste of money with no noticeable benefits.

Hi Oct is waste of money in grande
I use regular only. Specially after euro 5

On the other hand a friend with civic uses hi Oct which does mk diff as civic doesn't HV good low end torque like grande

Just put whatever fuel is mentioned in the owner's manual. Since it is a locally made car, no Hi-octane is needed.
