Corolla Amp draw battery dies after 3 full days if I don’t start

So my corolla gli is drawing almost 225 to 230 milli amps upon checking found out that AM2 fuse drawing more current then other which is ECU-B No.1 fuse.

If I remove those 2 fuse over all amp draw drops to 50mA which is standard draw for EFI car as per car forums on internet.

If I remove this AM2 fuse meter lights go away and upon cranking key position to start nothing happens.

Can anyone tell mein what is causing amp draw that comes in the circuitry of AM2 fuse and ECU B no.1 is also drawing some current but not much compare to AM2 fuse.

What I read a bout this is; the AM2 is the ignition to starter fuse. Your problem lies between your ignition switch and starter motor.

Not just ignition to starter also help to lit up meter.

No tracker installed and I have amp installed but have checked removing it still draw is same.

keep am2 fuse plugged in and remove alternator control connector - see if the draw stays the same or goes down to normal range

I have tried that too no change in amp draw.

Put a clamp meter around the positive wire of the battery and start removing 1 fuse at a time from the fuse box. Check for those where the current draws becomes close to 0.00 . This way you will be able to find out what exactly is taking the current. I had a similar problem! my issue was a malfunctioning ac relay and improper wiring of the android player.

Have done draw test and come up with two fuses responsible for the draw of current.

now check 1 by 1 what is connected over those 2 fuses. connect disconnect those items and trace which Item is culprit.

AM2 fuse controls power to start position of ignition switch as car doesn’t crank if I try to start it also while pulling this fuse radiator runs directly if I switch key to ON position.

ECU B no 1 apparently controls Clock as no other thing was unavailable after pulling this fuse out.

One more thing today went to my cousin’s home he got altis 1.6 I check they draw on his car on same two fuses and it was minimal draw as it should be not like mine which is drawing 220 to 230mA of current.

Another thing to ask can after market alarm draw current too as my cultus also have after market but it’s battery last for 8 to 10 days if didn’t started.

self or igintion switch have a short

If there is a short will the key gets hot after driving for a while?

A short will blow a fuse for original equipment, a hot ignition key is a sign of junk installation done for a remote or alarm or tracker.
