Aoa. First some basics of my car. Corolla 1.3. Model 2019. Automatic. Silver colour.
A few days back the car bonnet got 3 minor dents. I feel if i get it repaired its seals would be torn and after repair people would assume the car has got major accident and resultantly the car value would be down aroud 3 to 5 lacs. The fact is some hard metal thing has dropped on the bonnet which has damaged it a bit. So there is no major or minor 'accident'. Nevertheless car bonnet is hit. I need your suggestion what should I do. I dont want it repaired because of down resale value. I want a new one installed from toyota motors. But another issue is somebody said that even if you buy a new one from toyota motors even that would be called as 'painted one'. So your car value would be dropped anyway. Is it true? He suggested that I should find new but genuine bonnet pulled out from those cars that are stollen and their parts are sold in the market. Is it possible?
