Corolla GLi 1.3 vs Yaris Ativ X 1.5

Assalamualaikum, need expert opinion about changing GLi 2017 auto with Yaris 1.5 CVT is good or not?
Should I spend an extra 4-5 lakhs to get Yaris selling Corolla

Well... If I am at your place, I will keep Corolla, despite being sluggish and with 1.3L engine, and not switch to Yaris.

Depends on your requirement. Both will have equally good resale.
If you want more power and features at the expense of slightly smaller size then why not go for it.

Corolla is bigger and no doubt much more beautiful. If you want a better looking car, then keep corolla gli. On the other hand, yaris has more features and will have better fuel economy and pick. If you are satisfied with it then keep corolla.

I think despite being inferior in terms of power it will be more beneficial in the long run. Especially since it has been discontinued and its price may increase in the future. Also spare parts may be cheaper in comparison to Yaris since it has been in the market longer.

Well... I am Uncle / Grandpa type driver! I do not drive fast and furious. So to me, 1.3L, despite being sluggish, is fine.

Reason for 1.3 GLI AT: Corolla brand (instead of Yaris, gives a premium feeling), comparatively good resale, large size, rough and tough, well-reputed and respected in market, tried and tested, have won all type of road tests and conditions with flying colour, etc.

It suits my requirements, and ticks all the checks!

Currently, these factors are coming in my mind right now, when it come to GLI 1.3 AT. But again, I am not saying that Yaris is bad.

Yaris is equally good, but at the end, it all comes to personal choices, and likes / dislikes.

If you're really inclined towards changing car then go for a clean used facelift grande 2017 instead of yaris. You will enjoy more power then yaris and a fuel economy much better then gli auto.

Change karni hoi to new Yaris otherwise I am happy with GLi

Corolla is a better package over all. The Yaris 1.5 is just goodies and goodies. Better picture would be comparing the yaris Gli with Corolla Gli. If you still want to go for a yaris Gli. Then Yaris 1.5 is only added goodies.

If you want extra goodies pay the extra price, because those goodies with a Corolla now cost around 40 lack.

If someone knows how to buy a good car, used car is never a problem.. otherwise go get new. I personally always prefer less driven used ones to save a lot of money but only because i knw the basics to check car specially the paint and body work...for anyone else, not using any advisor or service, get new if budget allows
